Senior Full Stack Engineer (RoR/React or Vue or VanillaJS)

About the Product:
You’ll join a team working on an AI-powered video platform that automatically detects key moments in video content and transforms them into various formats — previews, highlights, summaries, and mobile-first vertical videos.

The system processes large volumes of data in near real-time and relies on computer vision, machine learning, and distributed architecture. The engineering challenges revolve around scalability, performance, and continuous integration of AI-driven capabilities.
 

About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who can take full ownership of features — from initial idea to production. The role is balanced but slightly backend-oriented.

The backend is largely built on Ruby on Rails, with additional services in Python and other technologies. Prior RoR experience is a strong plus, but the key requirement is readiness to work with it daily.

On the frontend, you’ll work with JavaScript (ES6), React or Vue, as well as HTML/CSS, depending on the product area.

You’ll collaborate closely with product, infrastructure, and AI teams, contributing to architecture and delivering features used at scale.
 

Responsibilities:

• Own features end-to-end: design → development → release
• Build and maintain backend services (mainly Ruby on Rails)
• Develop and optimize frontend components with modern JS frameworks
• Work with high-load systems processing large volumes of data
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decisions
• Integrate AI/video processing pipelines with core platform
• Improve and refactor existing codebase
• Use modern AI tools in development workflows
   

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software development experience
• Strong backend expertise (Ruby, Python, or Java; Ruby readiness is a must)
• 4+ years of frontend experience (JavaScript / React / Vue / similar)
• Experience with performance optimization and scalable systems
• Understanding of system design, cloud environments (AWS is a plus), CI/CD
• Experience delivering production-ready features end-to-end
   

Nice to have:

• AdTech / monetization experience
• Background in video processing or computer vision
• Experience with big data tools or streaming systems
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and serverless solutions
