We’re looking for a Manual Quality Assurance Engineer who wants to have real impact on the product, work closely with the tech team, and help shape both the design direction and the future of Crsel.

Role Description

As our Manual QA Engineer, you will be the quality guardian of Crsel's iOS and Android apps - ensuring every feature we ship meets the highest standards of performance, reliability, and user experience. You'll work directly with our development and design teams to test new features, catch regressions, and help us maintain the delightful, polished feel our 1.5M+ creators expect.

This is a high-ownership role where you'll build and maintain our QA process from the ground up — writing test plans, managing bug lifecycles, and becoming the go-to expert on how our product behaves across devices and edge cases. 

You'll be deeply involved in testing our subscription and monetization flows, media processing pipelines, and cross-platform consistency, collaborating closely with founders who are hands-on, product-obsessed, and genuinely value your input.

Required Qualifications    

• 3+ years of manual testing experience with native mobile applications (iOS & Android)                                  
• Functional, regression & non-functional testing                                                                        
• UI/UX testing                                                                                                        
• Solid experience writing test cases, bug reports, test plans, test strategies, and maintaining test documentation      
• Experience testing subscription monetization: in-app purchases, trial periods, purchase restoration, offline purchase flows                                                                                                                    
• Understanding of media app specifics: photo/video processing, rendering, performance across devices                  
• Understanding of App Store and Google Play release lifecycle                                                           
• Basic understanding of REST API and network debugging strategies                                             
• Bug tracking & project management: Notion, Slack
• Analytics & subscription management: Amplitude (or similar), Firebase Remote Config, Adapty (or similar)               
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking & communication skills
• Ability to build a testing process from scratch independently
