Senior Java Backend Developer

 Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer to design, implement, and integrate highly scalable RESTful APIs and cloud-based distributed systems.
The goal is to ensure maintainable code, robust automated testing, and operational stability within a modern AWS ecosystem.

Ideal candidate:
• 7+ years of proven, practical experience with Spring Boot
• Strong proficiency in Java 17+/21, including modern language features
• Expertise in RESTful API design, implementation, and integration
• Strict adherence to clean code principles, automated testing, and SOLID, KISS, YAGNI
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based/distributed systems, specifically AWS (Lambda with Java runtime, API Gateway, CloudWatch)
• Strong CI/CD practices with a focus on monitoring and operational stability
• Very mature and fluent English for Pan-Baltic level communication
• Nice to have: Previous experience in banking, finance, or regulated environments; Quarkus experience

• Start: ASAP, Full-time
• Format: Hybrid/Remote with occasional not being afraid office visits, paid business trip if to another country. Once per month on average.
