Junior Developer (Integrations and Automation)

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Developer to help build and maintain internal backend systems, APIs, automations, and data pipelines.

This is a project-based / hourly / part-time opportunity, ideal for someone who enjoys backend coding, solving integration challenges, and using modern automation + AI tools to move fast.

You’ll work on custom scripts, database solutions, and third-party integrations while leveraging tools like n8n, Supabase, Cursor, Copilot, and LLM APIs.

What You’ll Do

• Build backend scripts, automations, and lightweight microservices using Python and JavaScript
• Create and maintain integrations with CRMs, SaaS tools, and external APIs
• Design and manage databases in Supabase / PostgreSQL
• Use n8n to orchestrate workflows and connect systems
• Integrate AI models (LLMs) for parsing, generation, and automation tasks
• Use AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, etc.) to improve speed and productivity
• Maintain clean code, documentation, and version control with Git

Requirements

Core Skills

• Good knowledge of Python (backend logic, scripts, automation)
• Basic to solid JavaScript skills
• Experience with Git and version control
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently

Databases

• Experience with Supabase / PostgreSQL
• Ability to write SQL queries (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, JOINs)

APIs & Integrations

• Experience working with REST APIs and webhooks
• Understanding of authentication methods: API keys, Bearer tokens, OAuth2
• Comfortable working with JSON / CSV data formats

Automation & AI

• Experience with n8n or similar automation tools
• Familiarity with Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar tools
• Basic prompt engineering / LLM API experience is a plus

Nice to Have

• Experience with custom internal tools or startup environments
• Understanding of scalable backend architecture
• Interest in AI-powered workflows and automation systems
