Manual QA Engineer

Key responsibilities:
 

• Perform manual testing for exploratory, edge cases, and areas not covered by automation.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure test coverage and product quality.
• Create and execute test plans and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects and work with the development team to resolve them.
• Stay up-to-date with testing best practices, tools, and industry trends.

Required qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Experience in manual testing, exploratory testing, and regression testing.
• Good English communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to reach out when problems arise so that things are unblocked as fast as possible.

• Curiosity to improve existing processes, speaking up when detecting flaws in the system and suggesting improvements.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

• Familiarity with automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Knowledge of security testing best practices.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and experience integrating automated tests into pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
