Middle Manual QA Engineer

Project Description

Our Customer is one of the biggest companies on the market of home entertainment consumer electronics devices that strives to provide their clients with high-quality products and services.

Project goals include testing of new streaming devices, their firmware, media apps with video and audio content available on those devices, integration with web services, payment; providing testing results to Customer for decision making.

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in manual testing
• Strong knowledge of testing theory (test types, test cases, bug reports, etc.)
• Experience in creating test documentation
• Knowledge of Operating Systems and network protocols
• Basic knowledge of hardware
• High attention to details, patience, and investigation skills
• Upper-intermediate English level
• Fast learner with strong problem-solving skills
   

Job Responsibilities: 

• Manual testing of set-top boxes firmware
• Testing of media apps with video and audio content
• Communication with the Customer's team
• Creating, updating, and reviewing test cases
• Creating test reports
• Creating Test Plan documents
