Automation QA Engineer (Mobile)

We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer with a focus on mobile testing (iOS/Android).

Daily work start between 11:00 and 14:00. Finish time to ensure overlap with US time zones.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute manual and automated tests; analyze test results and report defects, issues, and bugs clearly and concisely.
• Validate data accuracy, ensuring inputs from the ring translate correctly to user-facing insights.
• Visualize data and metrics to communicate test coverage and quality status to stakeholders.
• Implement, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks using Pytest and Appium
• Integrate automated testing in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) to support continuous testing and fast feedback.
• Ensure regression suites are stable, reliable, and provide high-value coverage for core health features.
• Work closely with developers to debug issues and ensure timely resolutions.

Experience & Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on software testing experience.
• QA and Test Automation Experience: Proven track record of designing, building, and executing automated tests for mobile applications (iOS/Android).
• Domain Experience: Experience testing health, wellness, or medical-related software is a strong plus. Familiarity with testing algorithms or data-driven features.
• Automation Frameworks & Tools: hands-on experience with Pytest and Appium
• Programming/Scripting Skills: Python is required ( or Java)
• CI/CD Expertise: Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI, and best practices for continuous testing.
• Analytical and Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to identify root causes of complex issues quickly and drive solutions.
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with developers, product teams, and science teams.

AI Tools: Experience with LLMs and AI-driven dev/test tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) is a plus.
