Full-Stack Developer (Fintech Backend focus)

About the Role

We're looking for a Full-Stack Developer with a strong backend focus and real, hands-on fintech experience — specifically in building crypto exchanges or digital banking products. If you've spent the last few years deep in trading engines, payment flows, or core banking systems, we want to talk.

This is not a role for someone who has worked around fintech. We need someone who has been inside it - building the systems that move money, settle trades, and keep financial data consistent at scale.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing and building backend services that power financial operations - payments, ledgers, transaction processing, and compliance workflows
• Integrating with external payment providers, banking APIs, and crypto infrastructure
• Owning complex backend logic while contributing to React-based frontend when needed
• Ensuring financial data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance across the stack
• Collaborating closely with product and business stakeholders who speak the language of finance

What We're Looking For

• 2-3+ years of hands-on experience building fintech products — ideally a crypto exchange or digital bank (this is a hard requirement, not a nice-to-have)
• Strong Python backend expertise (Django)
• Practical experience with financial systems: payments, ledgers, double-entry accounting logic, reconciliation
• Experience integrating with external payment providers — APIs, webhooks, payment flows, error handling
• Understanding of compliance-sensitive workflows: KYC, AML, transaction monitoring
• Comfortable with React on the frontend - you don't need to be a UI specialist, but you can own a feature end-to-end
• Experience with relational databases and financial data modeling (PostgreSQL preferred)
