Senior Backend Engineer (Python/Node.js, AWS, AI/LLM)

Project Overview 
High-agency backend role building reliable, scalable systems that support real-time, high-throughput workloads — telephony, AI inference, and third-party integrations. The engineer will own and evolve backend services on an AWS container stack (ECS + Docker) while actively contributing to a migration toward Kubernetes.

Requirements (Must-have):

• Strong hands-on experience with Python as primary backend language
• Solid TypeScript / Node.js experience
• Experience with AWS (ECS), Docker, and container-based infrastructure
• Experience with microservices architecture and REST APIs
• Hands-on experience with AI integrations (LLM and/or speech APIs)
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or active interest in migration to K8s
• CI/CD practices
• High agency — ability to own systems independently
• English B2+
  
  Responsibilities:
• Own and evolve backend services end-to-end
• Build scalable, reliable systems for real-time and high-throughput workloads (telephony + AI inference + integrations)
• Work primarily in Python with growing contribution in TypeScript (Node.js)
• Maintain and scale AWS ECS + Docker infrastructure
• Contribute to Kubernetes migration
• Integrate LLM and speech APIs into production systems
• Design and maintain REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines
  
  Nice to Have:
• Experience with telephony systems or real-time audio pipelines
• Experience leading or contributing to cloud migration projects
• Background in AI-driven or voice-based products
