Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer

We are working with a forward-thinking startup that puts its products first in finding an experienced Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to help establish and grow the platform that their product teams are building upon.

This is a highly hands-on role; we’re looking for someone who enjoys solving real production challenges, working close to the code, and continuously improving the developer experience across the engineering organization.

The position involves a lot of platform engineering, infrastructure reliability, and product development. This is an amazing fit for someone who loves fast-paced startup culture, craves ownership, and has a say in how products are developed.
 

What you’ll do:

• Design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and deployment workflows
• Own observability across the platform: logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerting
• Partner closely with product engineers to improve developer productivity and production visibility
• Drive infrastructure and architectural decisions with a pragmatic startup mindset
• Continuously improve system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency
• Explore and implement practical AI tooling within engineering workflows

What we’re looking for:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and production systems
• Deep understanding of networking, compute, containers, and orchestration
• Solid backend engineering background and experience shipping production software
• Experience building and operating observability systems for distributed applications
• Proven ability to debug complex production issues and improve system reliability
• Experience working in fast-paced startup environments
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to operate autonomously
• Daily hands-on coding and infrastructure work
• Experience using AI tools in software engineering workflows

Nice to have:

• Experience building internal developer platforms
• Exposure to ML/AI infrastructure or GPU workloads
• Open-source contributions or experience with observability tooling
