Senior Backend Developer (Python/AWS)

Responsibilities:

- Work closely with other engineers, designers, and management teams to rapidly build, iterate, test, and deploy new features and products and main a high-quality robust codebase
- Improve and scale the existing products and tools
- Launch new projects from ideation to completion
- Actively support your team's deployed software
- Drive the development team towards the goal by integrating skills and experiences.
- design integration with 3rd parties (Python AWS interoperability role)
- work with Auths (Authorizations) process - connect to many diff systems interoperability via healthcare data / companies / health systems / EMR
- Work with QA, product management, and operations in an Agile environment.
- Develop and support data-driven product decisions in a high energy high-impact team.
- Participate in the resolution of production issues and lead efforts toward solutions.
- To maintain legacy applications and participate in the migration to newer technology in the mid-term if needed.
- Collaborate and drive research to find the solution to system bugs and issues.

Mandatory Skills Description:

- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
- Advanced proficiency in Python as software or data engineering
- Expertise in AWS (EKS, Lambda, S3), other cloud services
- Comprehensive grasp of databases (SQL/NoSQL)
- Mastery of API design (REST and GraphQL)
- Proficiency with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ)
- Experience with Event-Driven Microservices (Kafka backbone) Identity management/OAuth
- Experience with observability, tracing, and other cloud-native patterns
