In this role, you won't just coordinate events or fill out forms: you'll own the full lifecycle of how the company shows up in the market โ€” from chamber mixers and industry summits to high-stakes RFP submissions. Does this relate to you?

  • 3+ years of experience in partnership coordination, business development operations, proposal management, or marketing operations within a B2B services or technology environment โ€” with a clear track record of owning outcomes, not just tasks.
  • Proven ability to manage an end-to-end RFP response process: reading and interpreting an RFP, applying a go/no-go qualification rubric, breaking the response into workstreams, coordinating contributors, and delivering a compliant submission on deadline โ€” you've done this before and can demonstrate it with a live exercise.
  • Strong written business English โ€” you can draft a sponsorship pitch, an event recap post, and a company narrative paragraph from a brief, with clarity, the right tone, and zero need for heavy editing.
  • Hands-on experience engaging with chambers of commerce, trade associations, or industry consortiums โ€” you know how to plan an engagement from agreement to post-event follow-up, including budget, collateral checklist, internal brief, and measurement.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar), project management tools (ClickUp preferred), and Google Workspace โ€” you can walk through your current stack and structure a pipeline from scratch; active use of AI tools in your workflow is a must.
  • Proven ability to manage 5โ€“15 parallel commitments across events, RFPs, renewals, and content with different stakeholders and cadences โ€” when four deadlines collide, you sequence, delegate, and escalate with confidence.
  • A collaborative, cross-functional mindset โ€” you're comfortable working alongside SDR, Presales, and Marketing teams, and you know how to keep contributors accountable without burning bridges.
  • Comfort representing the company externally at in-person events when needed, with the professionalism and judgment to know when to escalate versus absorb.
  • Nice to have: Prior experience in a technology, IT services, or software consulting environment; familiarity with public-sector or enterprise procurement processes; experience negotiating event sponsorship contracts and reviewing vendor agreements; Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; experience with RFP management platforms such as BidPrime or equivalent.

A new team member will be in charge of:

  • Own the company's end-to-end participation in Chamber of Commerce activities โ€” from membership evaluation and event calendar management to sponsorship negotiations, booth presence, speaking slot coordination, and executive briefings.
  • Drive the full RFP response lifecycle โ€” proactively monitoring procurement portals and industry bulletins, applying a qualification rubric to filter opportunities, and orchestrating cross-functional response teams (Sales, Legal, Technical, Pricing) from kickoff to on-time, on-brand submission.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of a high-quality RFP content library โ€” curating reusable answers, past proposals, and company narrative assets to accelerate future submissions and raise the quality bar across every response.
  • Shape the company's external presence at industry events by partnering with the Marketing team to produce branded collateral, talking points, giveaways, and post-event content including recap posts, case studies, social media updates, and newsletter blurbs.
  • Ensure every chamber engagement and RFP effort produces measurable outcomes โ€” tracking leads captured, partnerships initiated, content assets produced, and RFP win rates, and reporting ROI to leadership on a monthly basis.
  • Own partnership operations infrastructure โ€” maintaining membership renewals, MSAs with chamber-affiliated partners, and sponsorship agreements, and ensuring all commitments are tracked, renewed, and honored on schedule.
  • Collaborate closely with SDR, Presales, and Marketing teams to align pipeline activity, coordinate contributor deadlines, and ensure seamless handoffs between business development and proposal execution.
