Middle Data Scientist

Dataforest is looking for a Data Scientist to join an interesting software development project in the field of Cybersecurity. Our client's platform offers Identity Insights drives real-time, multi-contextual digital forensics to protect new account opening workflows and expose fake accounts already in a customer database.

Skills requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in the Data Science field;

• 2+ years of experience with Python;

• Knowledge of data algorithms and data structures is a MUST;

• Knowledge of statistics, DS, and Machine learning algorithms.

• Strong experience with Pandas, Apache Spark (pyspark), Apache Kafka;

• Experience with Databricks and AWS (as a plus)

• Understanding of cluster computing fundamentals;

• English: Upper- Intermediate level or higher.

Key responsibilities:

• Create fraud and anomaly detection models ;

• Perform text processing, classification, and clusterization.

• Apply different data processing algorithms;

• Analyzing behavior patterns and identifying key trends;

• Building machine learning pipelines for automated data processing;

• Perform Research and development towards finding new features.

• Perform data analysis and develop functional logic;
