Senior DevOps Engineer (IRC291837)

Job Description

5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong DevOps focus
Expert-level experience with AWS (especially EKS)
Strong scripting skills (Python, Shell/Bash)
Experience building and automating CI/CD pipelines
Hands-on with Jenkins
Experience with Containers & Kubernetes (Expert)
Strong knowledge of Git and Git workflows
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (at minimum, hosting and maintaining MySQL, PostgreSQL, ElastiCache (Redis/Memcached), including AWS managed databases like DynamoDB, RDS)
Experience working with microservices at scale
Experience with cloud technologies (AWS primarily) (only long-term experience with AWS will work, 5+ years with EKS and more with AWS overall)
Experience with additional languages for microservices troubleshooting (Groovy, Java)
Knowledge of configuration management & release engineering (branching, versioning, tagging)
Experience with application performance monitoring tools

Job Responsibilities

Participate in design and development AWS infrastructure
Responsible for DevOps, CI\CD, Installation, Deployment and Automated Testing of product components
Maintaining test and development environments
Work with documentation
Direct communication with the customer
Lead and mentor our development teams to deliver a quality data solution.
Work closely with other app developers and engineers to ensure project success.
Exercise a high degree of autonomy and ownership
Research approaches to solve unfamiliar problems

Department/Project Description

The project is in telecom sector and involves collecting, processing, and analyzing large volumes of network performance data from various sources, including mobile devices, CPEs, scanners, and third-party testing tools. Project features with complexity of its data sources, the volume of data processed, and the need for real-time analysis.
