Senior Technical Product Owner (Java)

Our client is a global leader in infrastructure software, specializing in enterprise API management and digital integration.

They are looking for a strategic Senior Technical Product Owner to drive product vision and shape the future of their API and integration platform.

About the Position:

We are hiring a Senior Technical Product Owner to lead product strategy, own the roadmap, and deliver high-impact SaaS solutions.

You will act as a bridge between business, customers, and engineering, transforming market needs into scalable, technically sound product features.

Responsibilities:

• Own and drive the product roadmap and vision
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business impact
• Translate customer needs and market trends into product features
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams
• Participate in technical discussions and architecture alignment
• Lead product launches and feature rollouts
• Manage stakeholders, including executives, partners, and clients
• Identify bottlenecks and drive product improvements
• Ensure strong user-centric approach and product usability

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Product Owner / Product Manager roles
• Experience in a SaaS environment
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Solid technical background with software development experience
• Experience working with Java-based systems
• Ability to influence system design and architecture decisions
• Experience delivering products from idea to release
• Strong prioritization, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience with tools like Jira, Aha
• Ability to work in fast-changing, ambiguous environments
• Willingness to travel (~10%, including international)

Nice to Have:

• Experience in API management / integration / iPaaS
• Exposure to AI / ML
• Background in UX research or design
