Python Engineer (Production Support)

About the role:
We’re looking for a hands-on Python Engineer to take ownership of production support for a B2B e-commerce platform.
This is not a feature development role - the focus is on support, troubleshooting, and system stability.
The role combines:
- ~60% hands-on ticket resolution
- ~40% coordination and client communication
You’ll be working closely with a distributed team and directly with the client.
What you’ll do:
- Resolve support tickets and production issues
- Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Make small fixes in the existing Django codebase
- Ensure system stability and reliability
- Help distribute and prioritize tickets within the team
- Support teammates when they are blocked
- Communicate with the client regarding issues and progress
What we expect:
- 2+ years of experience with Python (Django)
- Understanding of Django ORM / APIs
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Experience with production support / troubleshooting
- English B2+ (you’ll communicate with the client)
- Strong communication skills and ownership
Important:
- English level B2+ and higher
- High level of ownership and accountability
- Ability to handle critical production incidents
- Stress resilience
