Python Engineer (Production Support)

About the role:

We’re looking for a hands-on Python Engineer to take ownership of production support for a B2B e-commerce platform.

This is not a feature development role - the focus is on support, troubleshooting, and system stability.

 

The role combines:

  • ~60% hands-on ticket resolution
  • ~40% coordination and client communication

You’ll be working closely with a distributed team and directly with the client.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Resolve support tickets and production issues
  • Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis
  • Make small fixes in the existing Django codebase
  • Ensure system stability and reliability
  • Help distribute and prioritize tickets within the team
  • Support teammates when they are blocked
  • Communicate with the client regarding issues and progress

 

 What we expect:

  • 2+ years of experience with Python (Django)
  • Understanding of Django ORM / APIs
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with production support / troubleshooting
  • English B2+ (you’ll communicate with the client)
  • Strong communication skills and ownership
