Senior Backend Engineer

At True Path Leads, we're building the next generation of performance marketing infrastructure. Our proprietary lead management platform operates at scale, processing millions of pings and leads in real time. We are expanding rapidly and looking for a highly capable Senior Backend Engineer to help design, build, and scale our core lead processing engine and supporting services.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and scale a high-load, mission-critical lead processing system in Python.
• Own architecture and implementation of backend services and APIs following Clean Architecture and SOLID principles.
• Develop real-time data pipelines using Kafka and high-performance databases (PerconaDB, ClickHouse).
• Optimize system performance, latency, and throughput under heavy load.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership to define and deliver features.
• Deploy, operate, and monitor services in AWS (EKS) using modern DevOps practices.
• Contribute to system reliability, observability, and fault tolerance.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of backend development experience (Python preferred).
• Proven experience building and scaling high-load / distributed systems.
• Strong SQL expertise (MySQL, ClickHouse) — query optimization, indexing, data modeling.
• Solid understanding of Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Experience designing and maintaining REST APIs and asynchronous systems.
• Deep understanding of concurrency, networking, and performance bottlenecks.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, S3, Lambda, networking, etc.).
• Experience with observability: metrics, logging, tracing (Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, etc.).
• Ability to take ownership and drive technical decisions.

Nice to Have

• Experience in performance marketing, lead generation, or affiliate platforms.
• Experience with real-time bidding systems or ad-tech.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes internals and production-grade deployments.
