Senior React Native Engineer / Mobile Tech Lead (Full Ownership Role | Ukraine)

We are looking for a strong Senior React Native Engineer ready to take full ownership of a mission-critical mobile app (iOS + Android) used at scale in production.

This is not a feature-only role — it’s a Mobile Owner / Tech Lead-level position, responsible for the entire lifecycle of the app.

🔧 Product context (high-level)

A logistics & delivery platform with:

AI-powered route optimization
Real-time order tracking
Integrated chat (sales / support / fulfillment)
Self-scheduling for deliveries
Driver-facing mobile operations app
💡 Core responsibilities
Full end-to-end ownership of the mobile app (iOS & Android)
App maintenance, releases, production stability & incident handling
Major refactoring of a legacy React Native codebase
Designing and implementing offline-first architecture (critical)
GPS / geolocation + background tracking implementation (critical)
REST API + real-time event integration
Performance, reliability, and architecture improvements
Native module integration (Swift/Kotlin when needed)
Release management and production readiness ownership
🧠 Who we are looking for
5+ years in mobile development, 3+ years in React Native
Strong experience with pure React Native (no Expo)
Proven background in offline-first mobile apps
Hands-on experience with GPS / background location tracking
Strong debugging skills in complex production RN apps
Experience with both iOS & Android release cycles
TypeScript + modern React patterns
