Business System Analyst
On behalf of our client — a fast-growing startup in the iGaming domain — we’re looking for a skilled Business System Analyst who can effectively bridge business needs and technical execution.
In this role, you will play a key part in transforming high-level ideas into clear, structured, and actionable documentation that supports accurate and efficient delivery. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, product teams, and engineers to ensure requirements are well-defined, aligned, and implemented smoothly.

Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business System Analyst with the ability to document and communicate requirements at a technical level.
- Strong technical understanding of system architecture, databases, APIs, and backend infrastructure, including asynchronous task processing (message queues), SQL proficiency, and a solid grasp of high-level architectural design principles.
- Excellent collaboration skills across Product, Engineering, QA, and DevOps.
- Proficiency with Agile workflows and tools such as JetBrains (YouTrack), Jira, Confluence, Miro and Swagger/Postman.
- Detail-oriented, structured, and proactive with a problem-solving mindset.
- Experience working with complex domains such as iGaming, fintech, payments, or other high-load transactional systems will be a strong advantage.
- English B1+, Ukrainian / Russian – Native.
Job responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Designers to translate business goals into detailed technical requirements, workflows, and documentation.
- Partner with Engineering and DevOps to refine and validate technical solutions, ensuring clear understanding and smooth implementation across systems.
- Map current system behavior, identify edge cases, and ensure integrations are fully documented and technically sound.
- Act as a domain expert for assigned services, maintaining a transparent and accessible knowledge base for both technical and non-technical teams.
- Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and QA preparation, ensuring user stories are complete, realistic, and aligned with technical constraints.
