Junior Technical Project Manager

Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Technical Project Manager to support the management of our global domain and hosting infrastructure. The primary focus of this role is domain and DNS administration, while also assisting with hosting, vendor coordination, and basic financial tracking. This position is ideal for someone eager to grow into technical project management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Domain & DNS Lifecycle Management

• Manage registrations, renewals, and redemptions for hundreds of TLDs/ccTLDs worldwide.
• Execute and troubleshoot DNS configurations (A, CNAME, MX, TXT, SPF, DKIM) and monitor propagation.
• Handle inbound/outbound transfers (EPP codes, IPS tags) and consolidate registrar accounts.
• Implement SSL/HTTPS configurations, monitor for hijacking, and ensure compliance with ICANN policies and WHOIS privacy.

2. Hosting & Infrastructure

• Support basic hosting tasks across Shared, VPS, and Cloud environments.
• Assist in coordinating with providers to maintain stable uptime.
• Help DevOps teams map domains to hosting environments.

3. Vendor & Account Management 

• Assist with administration of provider accounts.
• Maintain communication with registrars and hosting companies.
• Support contract and SLA discussions when needed.

4. Budget & Financial Control 

• Participate in tracking domain and hosting expenses.
• Ensure timely renewals and payments.
• Assist in monitoring costs and identifying optimization opportunities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in IT operations or technical support (preferably with domains/hosting).
• Basic knowledge of DNS and registrar panels (Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Namecheap).
• Familiarity with hosting platforms (cPanel, Plesk).
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn project management skills.
• English proficiency for communication with vendors and teams.
