Email Marketing Strategist / Account Manager
OVERVIEW
This is a high-impact, client-facing role responsible for the overall success and revenue growth of our eCommerce clients. You will be the "brain" behind the assigned accounts, developing high-level strategies, managing the creative team (copywriter, designer, and technician), and ensuring every campaign hits our quality and performance benchmarks. This is a full-time, remote, long-term position for a leader who thrives on hitting KPIs and building strong client relationships.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy Development
Audit client accounts to identify gaps. Create 30/60/90-day roadmaps. Plan monthly campaign calendars and flow optimizations that align with the client’s brand voice and revenue goals.
Team Management
Lead the production cycle. Brief the copywriter and designer on new tasks. Oversee the Klaviyo technician to ensure flawless implementation. Double-check everything before it goes live.
Client Communication
Act as the primary point of contact. Lead monthly/bi-weekly strategy calls. Present reports, explain data-driven decisions, and manage client expectations.
Reporting & Analytics
Analyze performance metrics. Use data to adjust strategies, run A/B tests, and consistently improve the performance.
Project Management
Keep all projects on track using Asana/Slack. Ensure deadlines are met by the creative team and that the client is always updated on progress.
Retention Ecosystem Growth
Beyond just "emails," look at the bigger picture. Suggest SMS strategies, loyalty programs, or list-growth tactics (pop-up optimizations, etc.) to maximize the LTV of the client’s customers.
EVALUATION METRICS
Account Performance
Achieve and maintain target revenue goals for assigned accounts (typically 25%+ of total store revenue from email/SMS).
Retention & Satisfaction
Maintain high client retention rates. Receive positive feedback on communication and strategic proactiveness.
Team Efficiency
Ensure the creative team (copy, design, technician) meets their deadlines through clear briefing and organized management.
Communication
Respond to client and team messages within 15 mins during work hours. Be available for occasional urgent client needs after work hours.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
eCommerce Strategy & Retention
Deep expertise in Klaviyo and the eCommerce retention ecosystem. You have at least 2 years of experience managing high-growth email and SMS programs, with a proven track record of driving revenue for D2C brands.
English
Advanced/Fluent. You must be comfortable leading video calls with US-based brands. Plus, day-to-day communication in Slack, occasional Loom videos.
Project Management
The ability to manage a creative workflow from start to finish. You know how to brief a team clearly, manage tight deadlines, and provide the constructive feedback necessary to get the best results from the team.
Analytical Mindset
Highly data-driven. You can accurately read and analyze account metrics to identify trends, diagnose performance issues, and make strategic adjustments.
Proactive & Solutions-First
You don't wait for instructions. If a client's revenue is down, you are already coming to the meeting with three solutions to fix it.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Availability
Available to work Kyiv time, 9:00 to 18:00 (Monday-Friday).
Technical setup
Stable internet connection and proper working setup (backup power source for locations with frequent power outages).
Long term commitment
Willing to learn and committed to long term cooperation.

SALARY
Starting at $2,000-2,500 USD per month.
TRIAL PERIOD
The role includes a 30 day paid trial period. This period is used to see how we work together and to help the candidate understand our standards, required speed, and daily responsibilities. If the trial is successfully completed, it is paid at 100% of the agreed salary. If it is not completed successfully, it is paid at 50%. We actively support candidates during the trial and are interested in you completing it successfully.
