Middle AQA Engineer (Java)

N-iX is looking for an experienced Middle AQA Engineer to join our talented team. As a Middle AQA Engineer, you will be expected to demonstrate solid conceptual and technical skills. 

Our client brings extensive experience to EHR implementation and workflow redesign to improve clinical care. The company evolved as clinical needs and technology became more sophisticated, and with that, a greater demand for the ability to move health information efficiently and effectively. Our team provides unmatched expertise in interoperability, health information exchange and Direct services. As one of the ONC Direct Reference Implementation vendors, we have provided Direct services since the Direct Project’s inception. The company operates a leading national Direct network and offers Direct Solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, write and execute test automation using Java
• Increase test automation suite
• Analyze and report test results
• Perform API testing
• Participate in test framework development
• Maintain test-related documentation
• Collaborate with Engineers and other stakeholders to assure the highest quality of delivered solutions
• Troubleshoot various problems across multiple environments and operating platforms
• Following Agile Development principles to deliver high quality work

Job Requirements:  

• 3+ years of commercial experience in test automation using Java
• Profound experience with all phases of software testing, including test planning, functional testing, regression testing, and designing test architecture
• Strong experience with automation tools and frameworks, especially Maven/Gradle and TestNG/JUnit
• Strong experience with API Testing, including SOAP and REST services
• Hands-on knowledge of SMTP
• Practical experience using GitLab
• Experience with Jira & Xray
• Experience with relational database systems (preferably MySQL)
• Experience with UI test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium / Selenide - nice to have or have a desire to obtain)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• At least upper-intermediate English level

Would be a plus:

• Hands-on knowledge of GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
• HIPAA Awareness
