Principal Systems and Controls Software Engineer

We’re looking for a Super Talent who can bridge the gap between experimental research and scalable production systems.

You will take ownership of the software architecture behind two high-precision optical platforms, helping evolve a research-driven Python environment into a reliable, industrial-grade system built with C++/Rust/C.
 

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years building software for complex hardware systems (e.g. robotics, semiconductor equipment, industrial automation, or laser-based systems)
• Strong Python expertise and solid experience with at least one systems language (C++, Rust, or C)
• Experience with multi-device coordination, state machines, and debugging hardware/software interactions using schematics
• Hands-on experience working with vendor SDKs and APIs (controllers, cameras, signal generators, etc.)
