Engineering Lead

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an Engineering Lead.

About the Product

A dating application focused on trust and safety, using mandatory ID verification (Vouched) and background checks (Checkr, IDI Data) for every member.

The product is in a growth phase, entering the v2.0 “Ignite” release cycle.

The stack is fully based on Microsoft Azure, with code managed in GitHub and CI/CD via Azure Pipelines.

Responsibilities:

- Lead a distributed engineering team (Ukraine, Poland, US)

- Own technical architecture and infrastructure decisions across Azure

- Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployments (Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions)

- Deploy application updates to Apple App Store and Google Play

- Drive product roadmap from an engineering perspective

- Manage vendor integrations (Checkr, IDI Data, Vouched, GetStream, Stripe, Auth0)

- Resolve production issues and data quality problems

- Communicate engineering status to non-technical stakeholders and report to CEO

Requirements:

- 7+ years of experience in software development

- 3+ years of experience in a Lead and/or Architect role

- Strong experience with .NET / C#

- Strong experience with Azure Cloud

- Experience with CI/CD pipeline management

- Experience with Azure DevOps

- Experience with API design and integrations

- Experience with AI tools and daily usage in development workflows

- Experience working with mobile technologies (React Native / TypeScript - preferred)
