Project Overview

A data-driven social media analytics platform undergoing global expansion. The project utilizes an event-driven architecture to process large-scale data from social networks, focusing on high-performance backend systems and seamless React integration.

Responsibilities

- Design and maintain robust, reusable Ruby code for event-driven systems.

- Integrate React-based frontend elements with server-side logic via REST APIs.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system bugs.

- Conduct code reviews and implement automation to uphold code quality.

- Participate in architectural decision-making for global scaling.

Requirements (Must-have)

- 5+ years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development.

- Expertise in Ruby syntax, OOP, and architectural patterns (MVC, Service patterns, ORM).

- Advanced knowledge of RSpec and Sidekiq.

- Experience integrating complex third-party APIs.

- Proficiency with RESTful principles and Mocking.

- Solid understanding of scalable application design and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex).

- Proficient understanding of Git.

Nice to Have

- Experience with RabbitMQ, AWS Lambda, and Elasticsearch.

- Frontend experience with React.js, react-query, or Ant Design.

- Experience with event-driven architectures.
