Game QA Specialist

CatalystApps is seeking a detail-oriented QA Specialist to join our team and contribute to the quality assurance of our gaming products. Big plus if you have  experience in the mobile gaming industry

Responsibilities:

- Work alongside game designers and programmers to ensure each game works flawlessly

- Manual QA testing for each new game release.

- Review functional and game design specifications of individual game features and provide checklist/test case/tools to provide maximum QA coverage.

- Coordinate with programmer leads and QA leads to generate testing procedures and test cases for various game features.

- Report and coordinate progress and status to QA and programmer leads.

Qualifications:

- At least 1 year of experience in Manual QA.

- Familiarity with the Unity Platform.

- Experience in web and mobile (iOS/Android) application testing.

- Experience working with web debugging proxy applications (Charles).

- API testing experience (e.g., using tools like Postman, Swagger and understanding API documentation).

- Strong knowledge of stack of web technologies like HTTP, JSON, REST.

- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Experience in creating and executing test documentation, including test cases, check-lists, and writing clear bug reports (using tools like Jira, Mantis, Redmine).

- Intermediate+ English for communication with English-speaking colleagues.

- Great communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills

- Enthusiastic about learning and exploring new technologies and solutions

Would be a plus: 

- Coding skills and/or familiarity with one or more of the following languages: Javascript, C++, C#, Java, Python.

- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
