Senior Back-End Developer

Team in UA is looking for an experienced and highly talented Senior Back-End Software Engineer to join the ambitious AI-first team working on a product in the FinTech domain. 

Requirements: We are seeking a candidate with:

• Experience Leveraging AI: You understand and have experienced the great benefits of using agentic AI tools like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor to automate routine development tasks and to be more productive. 
• Product mindset: Your focus is on delivering a great product that adds value to users. You understand and enjoy the unique challenges of making business and technology tradeoffs. 
• Proven Expertise: 5+ years of commercial software development experience, primarily as a Java backend developer within product teams.
• Educational Background: A BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Go programming language, ORM frameworks, relational databases, and SQL.
• Systems Design & Architecture: Solid experience in designing systems and willingness to lead the engineering process using modern methodologies.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Services (GCP) and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Terraform.
• Leadership & Communication: A collaborative team player with strong communication abilities.
• Self-Organization: Ability to estimate work, commit to deadlines, and deliver high-quality code.
• Adaptability: Ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
