PHP Team/Tech Lead (FinTech)

We are looking for an experienced PHP Tech Lead to join our team and help build an innovative FinTech product.

In this role, you will take ownership of the backend architecture, lead the backend development team, and contribute to shaping the technical vision of the product.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a Team Lead / Tech Lead role
• 3+ years of experience in FinTech domain or payment integrations
• Strong expertise in PHP and Laravel
• Deep understanding of DDD (Domain-Driven Design)
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
• Understanding of security best practices, deployment processes, and SAST tools
• Experience working with Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Ability to read and communicate in English (В2)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the backend development team
• Design and maintain backend architecture
• Establish and maintain technical processes (code review, SAST, CI/CD practices)
• Ensure high code quality and test coverage
• Participate in architecture and technical design decisions
• Provide technical support during product planning
• Conduct technical interviews
• Support technical resource planning within the team

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS / Amazon Cloud stack
• Previous experience working on FinTech products
• Experience leading distributed teams
