Role Overview

As a Design Lead at Flamingo, you will take care of both product design and brand identity. Your expertise in digital product design, branding, and storytelling will be key to creating a strong and recognizable visual identity for Flamingo.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of the OpenFrame platform, ensuring an intuitive, modern, and user-centric experience.
• Develop and maintain Flamingo's brand identity, including website design, marketing assets, and visual storytelling.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that align with user needs and business goals.
• Define and evolve the Flamingo design system, ensuring consistency across product and brand touchpoints.
• Conduct user research and usability testing, using insights to refine and optimize designs.
• Work closely with the founder and engineers to ensure seamless implementation of design elements.
• Design landing pages, presentations, and other assets to support business growth and brand awareness.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

• 5+ years of experience in product and brand design.
• Strong proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for product design.
• Experience with web design, typography, and branding.
• A strong portfolio showcasing both digital product and brand design.
• Experience in user research, usability testing, and accessibility best practices.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive design initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience designing for AI-driven or SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies.
• Experience with motion design tools.
• Understanding of growth-driven design and conversion optimization.
