Senior Account Manager
We are looking for an experienced and commercially strong Senior Account Manager to join our team and take ownership of strategic merchant relationships within the fintech / payments space.
This role is focused on managing and growing existing B2B merchant accounts, supporting merchant performance, expanding payment solutions, and acting as a key partner for clients across operational, commercial, and strategic matters.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in account management within PSP / acquiring / payment environments, understands the logic of high-risk industries, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional international environment.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
- 4+ years of experience in Account Management / Partnerships / Merchant Success
within fintech / PSP / acquiring / payments
- Strong hands-on experience working with high-risk industries, such as:
- gambling
- betting
- forex
- Solid understanding of:
- payment processing
- APMs
- card acquiring
- payment flows
- Proven experience managing B2B clients and strategic merchant accounts
- Strong commercial mindset and client-facing communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and internal teams simultaneously
- High level of ownership, accountability, and business maturity
- Fluent English (written and spoken, Upper-Intermediate+ / Advanced)
Will Be a Strong Advantage
- Experience in international payment environments
- Experience working with multi-GEO merchants
- Strong understanding of payment optimization and merchant performance drivers
- Experience in fast-paced, scaling fintech or startup environments

Responsibilities
Account Management & Client Relations
- Manage and develop relationships with assigned B2B merchant accounts
- Take ownership of strategic merchants transferred from the Sales team
- Build long-term partnerships and act as the main point of contact for merchants
- Maintain regular communication with clients through written and verbal channels
- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction, trust, and partnership quality
Merchant Growth & Payment Optimization
- Identify merchant needs and offer relevant solutions from the company’s payment product portfolio
- Support merchant growth by launching new payment methods, improving setups, and expanding into new GEOs
- Develop and drive growth plans for key merchant accounts
- Proactively identify areas for commercial and operational improvement
Performance Monitoring
- Monitor key payment performance metrics, including:
- transaction volume
- conversion rates
- payment performance indicators
- Analyze merchant performance and identify opportunities for optimization
- Work with internal teams to improve account efficiency and payment results
Operational Coordination
- Coordinate merchant onboarding and payment solution launches
- Ensure smooth cross-functional cooperation with:

- Handle complex client escalations and ensure timely resolution
- Maintain strong operational control over merchant-related processes
Commercial Development
- Prepare commercial proposals and support negotiations with existing merchants
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
- Contribute to merchant retention and long-term revenue growth
- Support the company’s commercial strategy through strong account ownership
