From merchant onboarding and MID setup to support operations and infrastructure control - this is where fintech operations meet high-risk payment environments.
We are launching a new payment company focused on iGaming and other high-risk industries.
The company will provide full-scale payment infrastructure for merchants operating in complex markets: processing, multi-PSP routing, settlements, and global payment orchestration.
To build and scale the operational backbone of this business, we are looking for a Head of IT Operations who can bring structure, control, and efficiency across IT systems, support processes, and payment operations.
Your Mission
Build and lead a reliable IT and operations ecosystem that ensures seamless merchant onboarding, stable infrastructure, efficient support processes, and full control over internal systems and access management.
What You Will Do
IT Infrastructure & Systems
- Own and manage the company’s IT infrastructure, including SaaS tools and third-party services
- Oversee vendor relationships, service performance, and cost control
- Ensure system reliability, security, and scalability
- Manage service subscriptions, payments, and contracts
MIDs & Payment Operations
- Oversee setup and administration of MIDs and merchant accounts
- Coordinate with PSPs, payment providers, and internal teams
- Ensure smooth onboarding and operational readiness of merchants
- Maintain visibility and control over payment-related configurations
Support Operations & Processes
- Build and lead the support team (L1/L2)
- Design and implement support processes, workflows, and escalation logic
- Define and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and team performance
- Improve response times, resolution quality, and operational efficiency
SaaS & Tools Management
- Analyze business needs and select external SaaS solutions
- Lead implementation and integration of tools into internal workflows
- Optimize tool stack for scalability and efficiency
- Ensure proper usage and adoption across teams
Access & Internal Systems
- Manage employee access across systems (onboarding/offboarding)
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC)
- Ensure security and compliance of internal systems
- Maintain structured documentation and system visibility
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience & Background
- 3+ years in IT Operations / IT Manager / Head of IT roles
- Experience in fintech, payments, or high-load environments is a strong advantage
- Proven track record of building processes and managing support teams
- Experience working with SaaS ecosystems and external vendors
- Familiarity with payment systems, PSPs, or merchant infrastructure is a plus
