Role Overview 
This role is focused on supporting the recruitment process across the company, with an emphasis on technical hiring. You will take ownership of the early stages of the candidate pipeline, from processing incoming applications and evaluating their relevance to proactively sourcing talent for open positions. Your goal is to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates ready for the first interview with the hiring manager. We're scaling fast, so the ability to independently identify and engage the right people is critical. A significant part of the role involves understanding the technical landscape of our product to accurately assess candidate profiles and ensure a strong match for each role.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and evaluate incoming applications, assessing candidate relevance against specific role requirements and team needs.
  • Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, GitHub, job boards, professional communities, and other channels.
  • Build and maintain a structured candidate pipeline, ensuring no qualified applicant falls through the cracks.
  • Collaborate closely with HR manager and hiring managers to understand position requirements, team dynamics, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Qualify candidates and move them through the pipeline up to the first stage with the HR manager.
  • Maintain accurate records in the ATS, tracking candidate status, feedback, and communication history.
  • Research market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring activity to inform recruitment strategy.


Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Sourcing โ€“ hands-on experience with Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, X-Ray search, and other sourcing techniques to find passive candidates.
  • Screening โ€“ ability to review CVs and applications quickly and accurately, matching candidate experience to technical role requirements.
  • Technical understanding โ€“ enough familiarity with IT, DevOps, cloud, and software engineering terminology to evaluate candidate profiles without a deep technical background.
  • Communication โ€“ strong written English skills for candidate outreach, follow-ups, and internal coordination.
  • Tools โ€“ experience working with ATS platforms (Greenhouse, Lever, BambooHR, or similar) and sourcing tools.
  • Organization โ€“ ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and maintain a clean pipeline.
  • Independence โ€“ comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with minimal supervision.


Nice-to-Have

  • Experience hiring for technical roles in startups or the MSP/cybersecurity industry.
  • Familiarity with open-source communities and how to engage contributors as potential hires.
  • Experience with recruitment analytics and reporting.
