Head of Infrastructure $$$$

JustMarkets is looking for an experienced Head of Infrastructure to lead our engineering operations and maintain a highly loaded, globally distributed trading infrastructure. In this role, you will be solving complex architectural challenges within our hybrid platform, bridging our on-premise trading core (Windows, MetaTrader) with an evolving Linux and Cloud-native ecosystem. You will drive infrastructure automation, as well as lead, mentor, and scale a team of highly skilled engineers.

Responsibilities

• Manage team capacity, resource allocation, and establish effective 24/7 on-call rotation processes for incident response.
• Take ownership of the infrastructure budget (FinOps), optimizing cloud costs across AWS, Azure, and Alibaba
• Lead, mentor, and scale a team of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineers
• Define the hiring strategy, interview candidates, and scale the infrastructure team as the business grows.
• Set up, maintain, and ensure the high availability of the global trading infrastructure.
• Guide the architectural vision of our hybrid infrastructure, balancing established on-premise trading cores with scalable Cloud-Native environments.
• Build and maintain comprehensive platform solutions tailored for our software development teams або 
• Drive the automation of infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible) and build robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and maintain enterprise-level network information security, including DDoS mitigation and infrastructure hardening.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering teams, Product Owners, and C-level stakeholders to align infrastructure roadmaps with business goals.
• Draw up documentation, disaster recovery plans, and instructions for infrastructure operations.
   

Requirements 

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, System Administration, or Infrastructure Engineering in high-load environments.
• 3+ years of proven experience in a leadership role (managing teams of 20+ engineers).
• Solid experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud) and understanding of global network routing.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with IaC (Terraform, Ansible) and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and a desire to drive Cloud-Native transformation.
• Strong background in network information security and implementing monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Solid experience in administrating relational databases (MySQL).
• English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher (crucial for stakeholder management and technical documentation).
   

Will be a plus 

• Experience in the FinTech, CFD domain, or High-Frequency Trading.
• Experience managing and scaling MetaTrader (MT4/MT5) server environments.
• Expertise in configuring and managing Windows Server environments and proficiency in PowerShell scripting. 
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience working with enterprise network architectures (BGP, bare-metal servers) and geo-distributed latency optimization.
