Join our Revenue Management engineering team and take ownership of the software that powers pricing decisions for every SIXT vehicle, worldwide. Our back office platform enables Pricing Managers to configure rates for both B2C and B2B customers and serves as a critical backbone for a range of internal business operations. The current system is built on a legacy codebase and your primary mission will be to reimagine and rebuild it from the ground up. This is a rare greenfield opportunity to architect a replacement for a core, mission-critical platform that directly shapes the prices millions of customers see across the globe.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and maintain scalable services and integrations
• Design solutions to solve complex problems in legacy and data-intensive systems
• Write clean, tested code and perform code reviews
• Own your services: “You build it, you run it.”
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders

Must-Have Skills:

• 5-7+ years experience with Go, PHP.
• Strong OOP, design patterns, and experience with working with legacy code
• Strong SQL skills (with PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• Unit & integration testing, familiarity with XML, JSON, YAML
• Version control: Git.
• Agentic coding experience
• Fluent English.
 

Nice-to-Have:

• Symfony, frontend frameworks (React, ExtJS, jQuery)
• Microservices, goMicro, REST/gRPC APIs, message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Cloud Experience, Docker, Kubernetes, observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Instana)
• Exposure to AI/ML tools and frameworks for data-intensive applications.
• Performance optimization and load testing.
• Security/authentication: OAuth2, JWT, Keycloak
