Marketing Data Analyst $$$

At A-Players, we are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst with experience in performance marketing analytics and web products. In this role, you will work with large-scale advertising data, develop and maintain attribution models, and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing channels to drive revenue growth.
 

We need a professional who is not only technically skilled, but also excels at data analysis, insight generation, and translating complex data into actionable recommendations that impact business decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Attribution: Build and maintain attribution models, including working with MMP data.
  • Channel Performance: Analyze the effectiveness of advertising channels (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, etc.).
  • Billing Analytics: Analyze payment data, monetization funnels, and conversion rates across PSPs.
  • A/B Testing: Design experiments, perform statistical analysis, and interpret results.
  • Automation: Develop and maintain Airflow DAGs, write Python scripts for data analysis and processing.โ€
  • BigQuery: Write complex SQL queries, optimize performance, and conduct data exploration.

     

What we look for:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Marketing Data Analyst / Growth Analyst / Performance Analyst.
  • Experience working with attribution data.
  • Experience analyzing advertising channels such as Facebook Ads and Google Ads.โ€
  • SQL (advanced): window functions, CTEs, complex joins, query optimization.โ€
  • BigQuery: experience working with large-scale datasets, understanding of partitioning and cost optimization.โ€
  • Python: scripting for data analysis, automation, and data processing.โ€
  • Marketing Attribution: understanding of attribution models, experience with MMPs (AppsFlyer or Adjust).โ€
  • A/B Testing: strong statistical thinking and ability to correctly interpret results.

     

Nice to have:

  • Airflow: writing and maintaining DAGs.
  • dbt: working with data models.
  • Billing/PSP data: experience working with systems like Stripe, PayPal, Primer.โ€
  • MMM (Media Mix Modeling): basic understanding.
