About the Project

Our client is one of the world’s largest professional services networks, providing audit, consulting, tax, and advisory services to a majority of Fortune 500 companies, global financial institutions, and fast-growing enterprises.

The project is currently at an early stage, with details to be clarified, but the main focus will be on building and scaling modern data platforms using cloud technologies.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Python Engineer Lead who will combine strong hands-on development expertise with team leadership, driving data-focused solutions within the Azure ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Python engineers
• Design and develop scalable data solutions
• Work within the Azure ecosystem, including Databricks
• Collaborate closely with Data Architects on system design
• Build and optimize data pipelines and data processing workflows
• Communicate with technical and business stakeholders

Requirements (Must-have)

• 9+ years of overall engineering experience
• 5+ years in a Senior/Lead role (flexible)
• Strong expertise in Python
• Hands-on experience with Azure
• Experience with Databricks
• Solid background in data engineering / data processing
• Proven team leadership experience
• English level C1+

Nice to Have

• Experience in enterprise or consulting environments
• Experience building data platforms from scratch
