Project Overview
Our client is an Icelandic energy company providing electricity, geothermal water, cold water, carbon storage, and optical network services.
We are looking for a Planview AdaptiveWork (ex Clarizen) Administrator to support and evolve the companyβs PPM platform used across multiple subsidiaries.
Role Overview
This is an operational role focused on administering, configuring, and maintaining the AdaptiveWork (Clarizen) platform.
You will ensure system stability, optimize workflows, support integrations, and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain a scalable and efficient PPM environment aligned with business processes (PM, SDLC).
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and configure Planview AdaptiveWork (Clarizen): users, roles, permissions, profiles, business rules
- Maintain system stability, monitor performance, and clean up inconsistent configurations
- Design and optimize workflows, approval processes, and automation logic
- Simplify and rationalize existing customizations to reduce technical debt
- Support integrations with internal systems (APIs, REST, data exchange)
- Troubleshoot system issues, data flow problems, and automation failures
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting for project/portfolio tracking
- Ensure data quality and consistency across projects and departments
- Document configurations, workflows, and provide user guidance
- Collaborate with stakeholders, PMs, and IT teams to translate requirements into practical solutions
- Promote best practices and challenge unnecessary complexity
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Planview AdaptiveWork (Clarizen) administration and configuration
- Solid understanding of Project Management (PM) and SDLC processes
- Experience working with evolving / partially implemented systems
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of APIs, REST, JSON, integrations
- Experience supporting system integrations and data exchange
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with limited documentation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher

- Experience with other Planview ecosystem products
- Background in software engineering or data engineering
- Experience stabilizing over-customized SaaS platforms
Experience in cross-cultural, distributed teams
