Middle JavaScript Engineer (AI Integrations) to $4000

About the role You will build real-world AI applications for enterprise clients—from the initial concept straight through to production. As a Middle JavaScript Engineer at Upstaff, you’ll design, implement, and deploy high-quality solutions that solve genuine problems for real users. You’ll skip the heavy bureaucracy, work directly with clients and the product team, ship code to production within days, and collaborate with a team that values accountability and a thoughtful approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy full-fledged AI applications based on our core enterprise platform.
• Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to customize and adapt AI solutions.
• Expand the platform's capabilities and enhance the UI/UX layers to meet modern standards.
• Integrate third-party APIs and internal tools to ensure seamless and secure data flow.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience in Full Stack development using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in building user interfaces with modern frameworks (React, Vue, etc.) and backend logic (Node.js).
• Solid understanding of web application architecture and complex integrations.
• English level of B2 or higher for direct, effective communication with global clients.

Will be a plus

• Prior experience working with LLMs or integrating AI services (OpenAI API, Claude, etc.).
• Experience in Enterprise or B2B software environments.
• Familiarity with Python or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
