QA Madness is a European IT service company focusing strongly on QA and cybersecurity. The company was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Poland.

Our client is a payment card processing provider delivering high-quality services for e-commerce acquirers. The company offers access to advanced processing tools and operates within international payment systems.

We are looking for an experienced Lead Software Application Administrator to join the client’s team and take ownership of application support and operational processes.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for application support and customer requests
  • Monitor and improve operational processes, maintain documentation, and knowledge base
  • Administer and support processing systems (TranzAxis / Compass Plus)
  • Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and escalate when needed
  • Install, configure, and test new modules and system updates
  • Monitor system performance and ensure stable operations
  • Handle incidents related to authorization and clearing processes
  • Manage reporting processes for acquiring banks
  • Support partners with integration and technical inquiries

    Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in application support/processing systems
  • Experience in team leadership and task management
  • Basic Linux CLI skills (SSH, curl, cron, etc.)
  • Understanding of payment systems (VISA, MasterCard) and card processing flows
  • Knowledge of system architecture and information processing principles
  • Intermediate level of English 
  • Basic SQL knowledge
     

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Tieto, SmartVista, Way4, TranzAxis
  • Understanding of ISO 8583 financial messaging standard
  • Experience working with high-load or financial systems
