React Native (Expo Framework) Engineer $

Entire Framework (https://entireframework.com/) opens a project-based position for a React Native engineer familiar with the Expo framework to develop a wellness-related application, as well as potentially join us for other upcoming projects.

Features:

• Focus on visual polish and a state-driven user experience. The application expects a live animated gradient/blur that responds to session state — active, paused, etc. It will require fluid screen-to-screen animations and a persistent session bar that stays docked across navigation contexts
• Session presets with configurable parameters (local state persistence and background handling)
• Live notes: Adding text notes during a session
• In-session settings: Adjusting a session, adding a custom title, restarting, cancelling
• Ability to add the current location when saving a session
• Sound effects during a session
• Ability to create a custom preset
• Session history and stats screen (overall and monthly) with a dot-matrix style data visualisation
• User authentication and user profile
• User settings
• Informational pages
• Internationalisation (supporting 2 languages at the start)
• Push notifications (local and remote)
• App analytics and error logging

Stack and requirements:

• Commercial experience with React Native
• Experience with Expo framework
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with REST API integrations
• Comfortable building custom animations
• Experience with state management libraries is a plus
• Proficiency in code versioning tools, such as Git (Yarn / NPM)
