Manual Test Engineer $$$

We are looking for a QA Engineer (Manual) to join our team and help ensure the quality, stability, and usability of our payment products. In this role, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to test complex fintech functionality across web interfaces, back-office tools, transaction flows, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web applications, admin panels, and payment-related functionality
• Validate end-to-end payment flows, including deposits, payouts, refunds, chargebacks, routing, limits, and transaction statuses
• Test UI, API, and business logic to ensure features work correctly and meet requirements
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases, checklists, and test scenarios
• Detect, document, and track bugs, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide early feedback on possible risks, edge cases, and inconsistencies
• Perform regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing before releases
• Verify integrations, notifications, filtering, reporting, and transaction-related analytics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and release confidence

• Contribute to QA processes, documentation, and overall testing standards within the team

   

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in manual QA
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and defect lifecycle
• Experience testing web applications and complex business systems
• Ability to write clear and structured test documentation
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar
• Good understanding of client-server architecture, HTTP, request/response structure, and status codes
• Experience working with bug tracking and task management systems
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Ability to investigate issues independently and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Good written and spoken Russian

   

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or high-load transaction systems
• Understanding of payment flows, statuses, providers, and risk/dispute processes
• Experience testing admin dashboards, analytics, filters, reports, and role-based access
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
