SAP Project Manager

Project Scope – S4E Program

• S4E is the largest business and IT transformation program of Siemens Energy, creating a future-proof ERP footprint that enables AI-driven solutions and operational excellence.
• Consolidation of legacy SAP landscape across 23 end-to-end processes towards SAP S/4 HANA based on Implemented S/4 Template.
• Position: Rollout Project Manager responsible for defining and executing overall rollout planning, safeguarding rollout implementation timelines, ensuring resource availability, and managing risks and stakeholders.

PM Tasks

• Develop a detailed rollout plan at local level including all activities required for successful rollout implementation and in line with overall S4E rollout project plan.
• Plan and monitor project budget at rollout level; provide financial reports together with Business.
• Oversee rollout of specific End-to-End processes and manage end-to-end localization requirements implementation, together with Business Cluster Manager.
• Plan project phases, including specific work packages, and coordinate the project plan with Team Leads, Business Core Team Members, Template SPOCs, SAP Template Organization, and all related stakeholders.
• Cover all usual project management disciplines: managing project schedule, detailed work plan, risks, issues, budget, cost, testing, and cutover.
• Ensure alignment of IT infrastructure setup and manage design approvals in compliance with S/4 HANA guidelines.
• Contract and coordinate with external partners and consultants to support project activities.
• Ensure adherence to PM@Siemens Energy IT project methodology (including fulfilling Quality Gate requirements and reporting project status and progress at regular intervals).
• Prepare and moderate Steering Committee meetings, ensuring all decisions are documented and actionable.
• Track project progress against milestones and deliverables; provide regular update reports to Rollout Management and stakeholder organization, ensuring alignment with operational and strategic goals.
• Lead and coordinate rollout teams to enable a smooth and successful transition to the new S4E template.

PM Skills

• Experienced IT Project Manager.
• Strong background in SAP S/4, SAP Rollout management.
• PM experience in SAP Projects.
• Experience working in Agile projects with user stories and Jira.
• Experience in global organizations with cross-functional teams aiming to harmonize processes.
• Several full-cycle projects as IT Project Manager.
• Background in complex projects (complex governance structure, many stakeholders with different targets).
• Excellent English (mandatory); German an add-on.
• Excellent communication skills to all stakeholder levels.
