Senior Full Stack Python Engineer

We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer for an Israeli AI company building a cloud-native platform for AI-powered video adaptation at scale. The product enables media companies, marketing teams, and creators to localize video content into any language with natural-sounding dubbing, expressive lip sync, and context-aware translation - all fully automated and production-ready.

The platform runs a proprietary AI dubbing pipeline across translation, voice synthesis, and visual lip correction, and delivers polished output through an enterprise studio interface and a developer API. Clients include TED, NBA, and Wix. The system handles everything from single creator clips to enterprise batch workflows across thousands of videos, integrated into broadcast-grade and marketing production pipelines.

The backend is built on async Python and FastAPI, processing real-time audio and video streams. The frontend is a React and TypeScript studio where translators, QA teams, and enterprise clients review, fine-tune, and publish dubbed content. Infrastructure runs on AWS with Kubernetes and Docker. The product is live, growing fast, and operating at a scale that makes every engineering decision matter.

In this role you will own features end-to-end across the full stack, working directly with the core AI and video engineering teams to build the interfaces, services, and pipelines that make complex media processing feel simple and reliable.

Responsibilities

- Take ownership of complex features end-to-end, from backend services to frontend

- Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs in async Python and FastAPI

- Build and maintain the React/TypeScript studio frontend

- Work closely with advanced video and AI algorithm teams

- Own features from architecture through production deployment

- Optimize for performance, reliability, and latency in a media-heavy, real-time environment

- Mentor engineers and drive engineering best practices across the team

Tech Stack

- Async Python, FastAPI, AWS, Kubernetes, MongoDB, Redis, React, TypeScript, real-time video/audio in the browser

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience as a full stack engineer

- Strong full stack engineer who can drive complex technical tasks independently

- Product-minded - able to translate product needs into solid technical solutions

- Comfortable working across Python backend, cloud infrastructure (AWS / Kubernetes), and frontend stack (React, TypeScript)

- Experience integrating complex algorithms or data pipelines into production systems

- Fluent English and strong communication skills

Nice to Have

- Deep knowledge of video technologies (e.g. FFmpeg, codecs, streaming, media pipelines)
