Technical Product Manager – InkPoster Digital Poster

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to lead the technical development and commercialisation of InkPoster, an advanced digital poster product. This role requires deep involvement in hardware architecture, embedded systems, display technology, and manufacturing processes, combined with a solid understanding of market requirements and customer value.
You will act as the technical owner of the product, driving decisions across engineering, suppliers, and go-to-market teams to ensure a competitive, reliable, and scalable consumer electronics product.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Product Ownership
Own detailed product requirements, technical specifications, and performance targets
• Lead technical trade-offs between BOM cost, performance, reliability, and industrial design
• Drive design reviews, technical risk assessments, and validation plans
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and certification requirements
Development & Manufacturing:
• Work closely with hardware, firmware, and software teams throughout the development cycle
• Manage development phases from concept, EVT/DVT/PVT through mass production
• Collaborate with ODM/OEM partners, component suppliers, and manufacturing facilities
• Support tooling, pilot runs, yield optimization, and quality improvements
• Oversee reliability testing, environmental testing, and long-term performance validation
Market & Product Strategy:
• Translate customer use cases and market insights into technical feature sets
• Support definition of product differentiation, feature prioritization, and roadmap planning
• Act as the technical authority for sales, marketing, and key partners
• Support product launches with technical documentation, training, and demos
Lifecycle & Optimization:
• Monitor field performance, failure rates, and customer feedback post-launch
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions with engineering and suppliers
• Manage product updates, cost-down initiatives, and next-generation improvements.
Required Qualifications:
• Strong experience as a Technical Product Manager in consumer electronics, home appliances, or smart devices
• Hands-on understanding of hardware development, embedded systems, and manufacturing processes
• Experience managing products through EVT/DVT/PVT and mass production
• Ability to read and review technical documentation, schematics, and test reports
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications
• Background in electrical engineering, embedded systems, or related technical discipline
• Experience with low-power devices, connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth), or cloud integration
• Experience working with international suppliers and manufacturing partners
