Data Researcher / Lead Research Specialist

Overview

Red Rocket Software is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Data Researcher / LLead Generation to support our lead generation and outbound efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, collecting and verifying prospect data, and building high-quality lead lists for the sales and marketing teams.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with research tools, understands the IT services market, and can turn raw information into structured, accurate, and actionable data.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market and prospect research to identify potential leads, target accounts, and relevant decision-makers
  • Build, update, and maintain accurate lead databases for outbound campaigns
  • Search for prospects through LinkedIn, company websites, directories, databases, and other relevant sources
  • Segment leads by industry, location, company size, service focus, job title, and other criteria
  • Verify and enrich contact and company data to ensure relevance and accuracy
  • Work with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Crunchbase, Clutch, and similar platforms
  • Support SDR and sales outreach by preparing targeted and well-structured lead lists
  • Maintain data hygiene in CRM and internal tracking systems
  • Analyze lead quality and continuously improve research approaches
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and emerging tools in lead generation and prospecting

     

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in data research, lead generation, prospecting, or a similar role
  • Experience working with B2B lead databases and research tools
  • Strong proficiency in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Crunchbase, Clutch, and similar platforms
  • Understanding of the IT outsourcing / outstaffing or broader IT services market
  • Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, or similar
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data
  • Analytical mindset and ability to assess the quality and relevance of leads
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple research tasks at once
  • English level B1+ or higher
  • Ability to work independently and deliver structured, high-quality results
