QA Engineer (Backend)

Your impact:

• Testing Back-End systems: APIs (REST/GraphQL), databases, and service-to-service contracts.
• Testing asynchronous interactions (message queues, events, webhooks).
• Testing integrations with 3rd-party systems.
• Writing and maintaining test cases, checklists, and test documentation.
• Analyzing automated test results and contributing to their ongoing development.
• Actively working with requirements at all stages (requirement reviews, edge cases, clarifications).
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (iOS, Android, Web, DevOps).
• Participating in team meetings and retrospectives.
• Enhancing testing processes using AI-powered tools.

About you:

• 2+ years of experience in QA, with at least 1 year focused on Back-End testing.
• Solid knowledge of REST API testing.
• Understanding of client-server architecture and HTTP/HTTPS.
• Hands-on experience with Postman / Insomnia / Swagger or similar tools.
• Experience with SQL (MySQL / PostgreSQL) — writing queries and verifying data in databases.
• Practical experience using AI tools in day-to-day work (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.).
• Understanding of microservice architecture and inter-service communication principles.
• Understanding of CI/CD and the ability to read build/deployment logs.
• Experience working with Jira and Confluence.
• Strong self-organization, results-driven mindset, and attention to detail.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with load and performance testing (JMeter / k6 / Gatling / Locust) - including scenario design, results analysis, and identifying bottlenecks.
• Experience testing asynchronous systems (RabbitMQ / Kafka / Amazon SQS).
• Skills in writing scripts, automated tests, or pipelines (Java / Python / JS).
• Experience working with logs and monitoring tools (Kibana / Grafana / Elastic).
• Experience working with Redis.
• Experience with Allure TestOps / TestRail / Qase / Testomat.
• Experience testing iOS / Android / Web.
• Background in Health & Fitness products.
