Senior Backend / Integration Engineer (.NET / Azure)

We are delighted to be entrusted with identifying a motivated Senior Backend/Integration Engineer for a visionary Sweden-based client aiming to become Europe's leading player in renewable energy!

We are looking for a Senior Backend/Integration Engineer to advance an existing integration solution built on Microsoft Azure. The current setup is based primarily on Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions, and we need an engineer who can quickly step in, understand the existing landscape, participate in knowledge transfer, and take ownership of further development and improvements.

Our client is the largest installer of solar cells in Sweden, with operations in several European countries, offering a complete energy ecosystem that includes batteries, charging infrastructure for electric cars, roof conversions with integrated solar cells, and the construction of large-scale solar parks. 

What you'll do in your role:

• Adopt and evolve an existing integration solution built on Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions
• Participate in handover sessions with the current engineer and ensure seamless knowledge transfer
• Design and build, maintain, and optimize backend integration flows and services
• Work on improving the reliability, scalability, monitoring, and maintainability of the current solution
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Work on incident resolution, problem resolution, and support stable daily operations
• Contribute to architectural decisions and best practice recommendations for Azure Integration Services
• Document solutions and assist in creating a sustainable long-term configuration

What we’re looking for:

• Have strong commercial experience with C# / .NET
• Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Proven experience with Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps
• Experience building and maintaining system integrations, APIs, and backend services
• Good understanding of event-driven and serverless architectures
• Experience with REST APIs, asynchronous processing, and integration patterns
• Ability to work independently in an existing environment with limited ramp-up time
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with client stakeholders
• Comfortable taking ownership of a business-critical solution
• Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English, sufficient for confident daily communication with the international team
  
   

How to knock our socks off:

• Experience with other Azure integration services and tooling
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation in Azure
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance optimization in cloud environments
• Experience with enterprise integration landscapes or business-critical workflows
• Previous experience in energy, utility, or IoT-related domains
• Naming five or more dishes that include Beetroot, besides borshch ;)
