Payments Operations Lead

We are looking for a Payments Operations Lead who will take end-to-end ownership of our payments domain, including PSP integrations prioritizations, operational performance, and alignment with product and development teams.

This role sits at the intersection of operations, product, and business, and is responsible for bringing structure, visibility, and scalability to our payments ecosystem.

 

Requirements

  • Strong experience in payments / PSP integrations (preferably iGaming, fintech, or high-load transactional environments)
  • Ability to operate across operations, product, and business domains
  • Strong ownership mindset with a hands-on approach
  • Experience working with metrics, dashboards, and performance optimization
  • Ability to structure complex processes and bring clarity to chaotic environments

 

Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary point of contact for all payment providers (PSPs), managing day-to-day communication and operational issues
  • Own and resolve ongoing payment-related challenges, including incidents, delays, and performance gaps
  • Monitor and improve key payment metrics (success rate, approval rate, processing time)
  • Initiate and drive investigations into payment-related issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Evaluate readiness of payment solutions for new markets
  • Lead the launch and management of new PSP integrations and payment methods
  • Translate business and operational needs into clear requirements for the development team
  • Contribute to roadmap planning in alignment with product and business priorities
  • Prepare and maintain internal documentation, manuals, and runbooks
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Tech and Finance teams
  • Potentially manage an operational specialist and oversee daily execution
