# Marketing Lead โ Kardbrd (Remote, Part-Time Contractor)
## About Kardbrd
Kardbrd is a kanban board where AI agents work alongside your team. Cards hold persistent context (descriptions, checklists, comments, attachments) so work compounds instead of disappearing after a chat session. Agents read the card, do the work, and post results. No prompt engineering. No context lost.
We're MCP-native, meaning Kardbrd works with Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, ChatGPT, and other AI tools out of the box. The product is built by a solo founder preparing for public launch.
## The Role
You'll own marketing for Kardbrd, planning through execution. This is a part-time contractor position (no W-2) reporting directly to the founder.
Here's the honest state of things: there's a live website (kardbrd.com), brand guidelines, product positioning, target audience research, and competitive analysis. What's missing is a marketing strategy. There's a backlog of 40 ideas and no plan for which ones matter. You won't get a marketing plan handed to you. You'll make one, defend it, and execute it on a lean budget.
## What the first 90 days look like
Month 1: Assess what we have. Kill what doesn't matter. Pick 2-3 bets and start running them. You should be able to explain why those 2-3 and not the other 37.
Month 2-3: Measure what's working. Double down or pivot. Build the repeatable version of whatever channel starts producing results.
Ongoing: content strategy (blog posts, landing pages, product messaging, social), growth experiments (paid ads, SEO, partnerships, developer communities, Reddit, Product Hunt), marketing analytics, outreach and community work across dev teams, SMBs, and AI enthusiasts.
## What we're looking for
- You can look at 40 ideas and explain which 37 to ignore and why
- Track record building or growing a marketing funnel. Show us the numbers.
- Hands-on with at least 2-3 of: content marketing, paid acquisition (Google/Meta Ads), SEO, email marketing, community building
- You define the audience and own the positioning, not wait for the founder to hand it to you
- Strong written English (B2+ minimum)
- You measure what matters and iterate
- Bonus: experience with B2B SaaS, productivity tools, project management software, or developer-focused products
