Solution Architect (Digital Commerce & SF Data Cloud)

Location: London, UK 

Contract Period: April 20, 2026 – July 10, 2026 

Allocation: 220 total hours 

Must have SF Data Cloud experience

Role Purpose

We are seeking a high-caliber Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex Digital Commerce platform engagements. In this role, you will act as the primary architectural authority, bridging the gap between business needs and technical execution. You will be responsible for driving high-performance, scalable solutions and leading 3rd party integrations using industry-leading best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Architectural Design: Deliver end-to-end designs for complex Digital Commerce engagements, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Project Leadership: Lead the migration and implementation of client projects, providing content governance and technical leadership to consulting initiatives.
• Sales Support & Pre-sales: Assist sales personnel in qualifying customer needs, performing business value assessments, and responding to RFI/RFP documents.
• Prototyping & Demos: Scope and deliver Proof of Concept (PoC) and Proof of Value (PoV) engagements; propose solution options and prototypes to stakeholders at all levels.

• Consultancy & Education: Deliver educational workshops for clients and maintain a showcase of solutions created across various platforms.

   

Required Knowledge & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in a direct customer-facing delivery role within a consulting or professional services organization.
• eCommerce Expertise: Proven track record in architecting enterprise-level platforms (e.g., SFCC, SAP Hybris, or Magento).
• Core Requirement: Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud is mandatory.
• Strategy: Successful recent track record in selling and architecting digital commerce solutions.

Key Deliverables (Accountabilities)

1. Contribute to Sales campaigns by providing product and industry insights.
2. Maintain a repository/showcase of innovative architectural solutions.
3. Perform business value assessments to determine the best ROI for clients.
4. Define business opportunities within constraints of goals, budgets, and timelines.
5. Execute architectural solutions as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and compliance monitor.
